Dear John engaged uncommitted voters in the 2004 Australian election by inviting them to download t-shirt artworks and Dear John letters and forward it among their network of friends. Politics was made personal.
The public voiced their views on issues that mattered to them by the simple act of wearing a t-shirt or putting a poster on the wall.
The design team felt that this design intervention could play a role in changing people’s attitudes toward politics.
